Accommodations and living expenses for visiting scholars ( HK$ )

Accommodation on campus
1.University guest house system (Tel: 852-26036411)
Yali guest house
Single room (attached bath) 360/night or 8,400/month
Twin room (attached bath) 440/night or 9,600/month
Superior room (attached bath) 500/night or 10,500/month

**Deposit is required for all bookings. Deposit can be made by cheque, or by credit card. Cheque should be payable to "The Chinese University of Hong Kong". Deposit can be fully or partly refunded if amendment/cancellation is given at least 2 weeks before the scheduled arrival.**

2. Student Hostel in New Asia College (Available only from mid June to mid August)

A bed in a shared room (shared bath) 90/night for weekdays 100/night for weekends/holidays

Other accommodations
1. House in a Village adjacent to the University
Small room about 2,500 per month
Flat about 8,000 per month

2. YMCA and hotels of the same class
Double room about 700 per night

3. Flat in Shatin or Taipo 8,000 up per month

4. Hong Kong Youth Hostels Association
